Hiring Nurse Practitioner(s) to work in the Emergency Department. Full time opportunities include:
• 36 hours/week (one 24-hour shift plus one 12-hour shift)
• 48 hours/week (two 24-hour shifts)
PRN availability will be utilized in 12 to 24 hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in an emergency room setting.
Responsible for stabilizing critical patients, providing health education and counseling, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and referring patients to specialists.
Must have strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to make quick and critical decisions in an emergency setting.
Qualifications:
Education: Current Iowa licensure as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse required. Must have certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.
Experience: Clinical experience in Emergency Medicine or Intensive Care Unit
Employee must remain onsite during shifts. Estimated full time start date is October 1st, 2025.
