Full Time IT System Administrator
Horn Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled and motivated IT System Administrator to support and maintain the organization's technology infrastructure. This position is full time, Monday through Friday and includes participation in an on-call rotation to ensure consistent support of hospital systems outside regular business hours. This position is fully onsite in Ida Grove, IA. The role is responsible for the configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of servers, workstation PCs, and printers along with inventory management, software support, and end-user training.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure and maintain hardware and software systems
Implement IT security measures to protect sensitive electronic health information (ePHI)
Respond to user support requests via helpdesk software, phone, and email
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PCs, servers, printers, and software applications
Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment including workstations, printers and phones
Assist with network/telephone cabling and data entry tasks
Develop and deliver training materials for end-users
Collaborate with departments across the hospital to ensure smooth IT operations
Support hospital compliance and safety programs through adherence to policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Education: Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, related field or a minimum of 5 years Information Technology experience.
Experience:
Proficiency in computer systems, networks, operating systems and hardware
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
